I always recommend that you ask your business friends for the names of who they outsource to first, but because I know that not everyone is going to want to share their contacts with you, I wanted to give you a sample job posting that you can use.
You can put this ad on your website and then email your list about your opening (you may find some great people right in your own community). Or you can post it on a job board or social media, or even on Linkedin.

Before I hire someone, I like to talk with them on the phone and run through my list of interview questions so I can feel them out. Plus, by talking to a prospective virtual assistant (or other type of contractor), you’re going to be able to tell if there’s a ‘connection’ or not.
But knowing what to ask can be challenging, so I’ve included my own personal list of interview questions in PDF format – just type the answers right into the PDF during the interview, save, and print it off for your files.
